Great Places to Fish. Good People to Fish With.

More lakes to explore, friendly faces to meet and the freedom to fish without paying every time you visit.

There’s something special about spending a few hours beside the water. The peace and quiet, the excitement when you get a bite, and the satisfaction of catching a fish, even if it’s only a small one!

For some, fishing has been a lifelong passion. For others, it’s something they’ve always fancied trying but never quite got around to.

Whatever brings you here, you’re welcome.

When you become a member of our fishing charity, you're joining a group of people who love fishing and want to make it easier for others to enjoy it too.

We’ve got access to some lovely fishing waters, and we’re continuing to build relationships with local clubs to give our members even more choice.

The best part? Your membership gives you access to our participating lakes without having to pay for a separate day ticket every time you fancy going fishing.

So whether you’ve got a whole day to spare or just want a few peaceful hours by the water, there’s always a good reason to get your fishing rods out.

Hunters Rest

A lovely spot to get away from it all and enjoy a day's fishing.

Sometimes you just need somewhere peaceful to sit, cast a line and see what happens.

Hunters Rest is a great place to do exactly that. With carp, tench, roach, bream and perch to fish for, there’s plenty to keep you interested, whether you’re just starting out or have been fishing for years.

It’s the sort of place where you can settle in for a few hours, enjoy the surroundings and hopefully head home with a good fishing story to tell.

And if you’re still finding your feet, don’t worry. Our team is here to help you get started and make the most of your time on the bank.

Witham Friary Lakes - The Fishing Project

One of the things we love about fishing is that no two days are ever quite the same.

Witham Friary gives our members another place to get out, try their luck and enjoy being outdoors.

Whether you’re heading out with a friend, spending some time with family or just enjoying a bit of peace and quiet, it’s another place where you can make the most of your membership.

You don’t have to catch the biggest fish in the lake to have a brilliant day. Sometimes it’s just nice to be there.

Crosshands Angling Club

More lakes, more choice and even more fishing to look forward to.

We’re really pleased to be working with Crosshands Angling Club to give our members access to more fishing opportunities.

It’s a great step forward for the charity and means there’s even more variety for people who want to get out and enjoy the sport.

Different waters bring different experiences, and that’s part of the fun. You can revisit your favourite spots, try somewhere new or work on catching a fish you’ve never caught before.

Never Been Fishing Before? That's Absolutely Fine.

You don't need to own all the latest fishing gear to get involved.

In fact, some of our favourite moments are watching someone catch their very first fish.

Our team is here to help people learn, whether that’s showing an eight-year-old how to cast for the first time or helping someone in their seventies rediscover a hobby they haven’t enjoyed for years.

Fishing has a lovely way of bringing people together. Age doesn’t really matter when you’re sat beside the same lake, sharing a few tips and having a laugh.

Fish More Often, Without Paying Every Time

We know that the cost of fishing can soon add up, particularly if you like getting out regularly or you’re introducing the family to the sport.

That’s one of the reasons we’re working to make fishing more accessible through our charity. Rather than paying for a day ticket every time you visit, your membership includes access to our participating fishing waters.

That means you can get out more often, practice what you’ve learnt, visit different lakes and enjoy your fishing without having to think about another day-ticket cost.

And just as importantly, you’re helping support a charity that wants to give more people the chance to experience fishing for themselves.

Come and Be Part of It

Whether you're eight, eighty or somewhere in between, we'd love to welcome you.

You might be looking for a new hobby, somewhere to meet people, a way to spend more time outdoors or simply a good excuse to go fishing more often. Whatever your reason, there’s a place for you here.
